Christmas Novena

When the Angel Gabriel appeared to the Blessed Virgin Mary he announced that she would conceive of the Holy Spirit and bear a Son who “will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, … and of his kingdom there will be no end” (Lk 1:32-33). Our Blessed Mother received this news with great joy and humbly obeyed the will of God. The wonder of the incarnation has brought to the eyes of faith a new and radiant vision of the glory of God the Father.
The holy season of Christmas is one of anticipation of the birth of our Lord and rejoicing in the goodness of God and His love for us. Our Lord came into this world subject to our human nature and through His life, death and resurrection we have been freed from the slavery to sin and made heirs of God’s kingdom. With faith in the many graces bestowed upon us in this holy season, we present our needs and our prayers for ourselves and for our loved ones that they may be heard and answered.
In honor of the birth of Jesus, we the Canons Regular of the Immaculate Conception, are offering a Novena of Nine Holy Masses that will begin on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. What a wonderful gift to offer your friends and loved ones, that of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. To have your intentions, those for your loved ones, friends and those who need your prayers enrolled in the list of those we pray for, please fill out the Christmas Novena reply form. You can select from the general intentions listed or include your own specific intentions on the reverse of the reply form. If you have many specific intentions simply attach a list so that we may also include them in the Christmas Novena. Since we will be transferring the intentions onto our enrollment list, please write as clearly as possible.
